A Rolling Stone fez uma lista dos 500 melhores álbuns de todos os tempos. Eu observei que:

a) os anos 90 só aparecem em 17º, com Nevermind, sendo que o In Utero aparece em 439º, bem depois da 311ª posição do MTV Unplugged;

b) o Radiohead aparece só em 110º, com The Bends, sendo que OK Computer, comumente citado entre os melhores de todos os tempos, está em 162º;

c) o Sonic Youth só aparece em 329º, com Daydream Nation;

d) Mezzanine aparece 7 posições depois de Blue Lines, em mais um caso que não dá para entender de valorizar mais o disco dance que o disco rock do Massive Attack;

e) The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn, o disco que é comumente considerado o mais inventivo do Pink Floyd, aparece em 347º, 304 posições abaixo de Dark Side Of The Moon;

f) The Strokes aparecem na 367ª posição e The White Stripes na 390ª, a despeito de muitas vezes serem considerados criações da mídia ou algo do tipo.
